Who we are

This website is run by Ordvenn (“we”, “us”). We are the controller of the personal data you send us through it, under the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

Only what you type into the enquiry form:

• your name, email address and, if you give it, your business name;
• the type of enquiry and your message.

This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising trackers and loads nothing from other companies in your browser. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) to run and protect the service.

Why we use it

To read and reply to your enquiry, and to keep a record of our conversation with you. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us; if you are asking on behalf of a business about working with us, it is also to take steps before entering into a contract.

We do not sell your details, use them for marketing you did not ask for, or make automated decisions about you.

Who handles it for us

• Cloudflare, which hosts this website and processes the form when you send it;
• our email delivery provider, which passes your enquiry to our inbox;
• our email service, where the enquiry is kept.

Each acts only on our instructions under a data processing agreement. Where one of them processes data outside the UK, it does so under safeguards approved under UK law, such as the International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep it

For as long as we are in conversation with you, and then for no more than 24 months after our last contact, unless we go on to work together, in which case our contract and the law decide.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your details, for them to be corrected or deleted, or object to our use of them.Email hello@ordvenn.com.We will answer within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update it here and change the date at the top.
